Hello to all! Some of you may know me from my Instagram page @kindasadmemes. For quite some time I’ve been thinking of ways to connect with people on a more personal level. While sharing the joys and grievances of my life via captions and stories has been beyond helpful for me, I couldn’t help but feel that there was more out there. So, one fine day in fifth period I had an idea. About a week later I decided to finally act on that idea, and create this blog! Now rather than just hearing me complain about the minor annoyances of my life, perhaps I could use my platform to truly help other people who are struggling with the same things I am. While I work to figure out exactly what I’m doing, I truly hope you all will bare with me. To begin I thought I would tackle some of the FAQ’s.

How old am I?

I am 16, born April 24, 2003.

Who am I?

Well, that’s a loaded question. I’m a teenage girl named Kiersten. One day I hope to teach at an elementary school. I have a passion for mentoring inner city children, and serving anyone I can in any way possible. I love people, but I love Jesus more than anything else.

Do I have any hobbies?

Of course! I love writing poetry and songs. On the same note, I play three instruments: piano, guitar, and ukulele. I also love reading, watching movies, and socializing.

Quick Facts

My absolute favorite movie on the planet is Dead Poets Society. I bake too much and my favorite artificial flavor is blue raspberry. Once the temperature creeps above 50 degrees Fahrenheit, you can find me sitting outside and listening to music or a podcast. I have a slightly unhealthy addiction to murder documentaries and scented candles. Basically, I’m a 40 year old mother who has taken the form of a very single teenage girl.

Hopefully I won’t let let this website fall flat on it’s face. For me, writing has always been a greatly useful tool, and my goal is that through my failures and successes I can use this place to learn and grow with all of you. So this is for everyone who refuses to act like they’ve got it all together. Life is a crazy journey, and I am beyond excited to share mine with you. I hope one day I may have the privilege of knowing some of your lives as well.
